sqr3 times sqr3 = 3
sqrx times sqrx = x
(sqrx)^2 = x^(1/2)(2) = x^1 = x
square root and squares are inverse functions or relations. they cancel each other or bring you back to where you started, much like x+1 and x+1-1 bring you back to just x
or 3x/3 = x. Multiply by 3, then divide by 3, you're back to where you started. squares and square roots are like that.
