ST = 35
F, S, T are three consecutive integers
F=x-2, S=x, T = x+2
x(x+2) = 35
x^2 +2x -35 = 0
(x+7)(x-5) = 0
x =-7 or 5
there are consecutive odd integers where the product of 2nd & 3rd = 35, but no even integers
the very fact that the product is an odd integer, means the 2nd & 3rd are both odd. odd times odd is odd. Even times even always even.
3, 5, 7 or -9,-7, -5 fit the requirements but there is no solution for consecutive even integers.
