A gas sample at 356 K occupies a volume of 1400 m. At what temperature will it a occupy 1200 m?

1400m = 356K

1200m = T

Cross multiply to get,

(1400)(T) = (1200)(356)

(1400)(T) = 427200

          T   = 427200/1400

               =  305K
