The easiest way I've learned to handle percentage problems is to look at what 1% of the main number is.

In this question, you know that 45% = 225.

So if you divide 225 by 45, you get 5. so 5 is 1% of n

Now you need to know what 74% is. Well, just multiply 5 by 74.

5 x 74 = 370.

n, in this equation, is 500. (5 x 100)
