Did you mean 7 * sqrt(w+9) = 56?
If so, first divide both sides by 7:
sqrt(w+9) = 8
Now square both sides:
w+9 = 64
Subtract 9 from both sides:
w = 55
Check:
7 * sqrt(55+9) =? 56
7 * sqrt(64) =? 56
7 * 8 =? 56
56 = 56 √
