Did you mean 7 * sqrt(w+9) = 56?

If so, first divide both sides by 7:

sqrt(w+9) = 8

Now square both sides:

w+9 = 64

Subtract 9 from both sides:

w = 55

Check:

7 * sqrt(55+9) =? 56

7 * sqrt(64) =? 56

7 * 8 =? 56

56 = 56 √
