In order to simplify this problem, we must multiply the fraction by 5-√6/5-√6 in order to eliminate the radical (the square root sign) from the denominator. This results in a numerator of (5-√6)(5-√6) and a denominator of (5+√6)(5-√6). The simplified numerator can be written (5-√6)2 . To simplify the denominator, we FOIL. 5x5=25. 5√6 and -5√6 cancel each other out. √6 x - √6 = - 6. 25-6=19. So the answer is
(5-√6)2/19
