slope = 49.95 = dollar cost per day

y intercept = 31.95 = the one time insurance cost in dollars, independent of how many days the car is rented

cost for one week = cost for 7 days = 49.95(7) + 31.95 = 349.65 +31.95 =$381.60

if cost per day were $60 and insurance was a one time cost of $30 then cost per week would = 7(60) +30 = 420 +30 = $450
