Since each vase requires 750 g of clay and 10 need to be made that would be

750g x 10 = 7500g of clay

Since there are 1000 g in 1 kg you can easily convert your 7500g into kg

1kg = 1000 g

Your conversion factor is 1kg/1000g

7500g * 1kg/1000g = 7500 g * 1kg/1000 g = 7.5 kg

Notice that g on the top cancel out g in the denominator leaving the desired unit kg
