asked 04/26/21Ratio help please
Hunter bought a large container of nuts to school to share with his friends on National Nut Day. The ratio of macadamia nuts to walnuts to peanuts was 14:8. If there were a total of twenty-six nuts, how many peanuts were in the container?

Think you meant 1:4:8 for the ratio.
26/(1+4+8)=2
Peanuts = 2*8 = 16
