Write an explicit formula for the arithmetic sequence.

i need help with this question which I'm really struggling with. thank you.

an = a1 + d(n-1) where n= the nth term and d= the common difference, d = 2, a1 =5

an=5+2(n-1)

a1 = 5 + 2(1-1) 5 + 0 = 5

a2 = 5 + 2(2-1) = 5+ 2 = 7

a3 = 5+ 2(3-1) = 5+4= 9
