Is this a rectangular table?
Let us assume it is a rectangular table.
Recall that perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of all the sides, P= (2 l+2w) - here l is given as 9ft, P = 24 ft.
So we have,
24 = 2(9) + 2*w
24 = 18 +2w
From this you can get the width, w, of the table
When you have the length and width you can calculate area using A = l*w
