Two angles are supplementary. The measure of one angle is twice the measure of the other plus 6. What is the measure of the smaller of the two angles?

Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
L=2S+6
L+S = 180
2S+6 + S = 180
3S = 174
S = 174/3 = 58 degrees
L = 180-58 = 122 degrees
122 = 2(58)+ 6
UNLESS maybe you meant L=2(S+6)
Then
2S+12 + S = 180
3S = 168
S = 36 degrees
L = 180-36 = 144 degrees
