P= 290 = 2h + 2w = 2(17w/12 + w) = 17w/6 + 2w

17w + 12w = 290(6) = 1740

29w = 1740

w = 1740/29 = 60 feet

h= 17w/12 = (17/12)(60) = 85 feet

2(85+60)= 2(145) = 290
