Rey is six years older than Ricky. Four years from now, Rey will be three times as old as Ricky was

two years ago. Find their present ages

x=6+y

x+4=3(y-2)

x=3y-6-4 = 3y-10

3y-10 = 6 + y

2y =16

y = 8 = Ricky's age now

x = 14 = Rey's age now
