What is the difference between sacred and secular music?

When you are approaching music, secular music is of the world, worldly, focused on things of the world and self. It's not necessarily negative as there are some secular music items that are okay such as some jazz music, some classical music, etc. Sacred music is music that honors and glorifies God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
