I can't find a linear equation I keep getting exponential equations for both.

A = 600 600 is the fixed cost, variable cost = 0

B = 350+1.25T where T = number of tickets sold; 350 is fixed cost, 1.25T is variable cost

Total cost = fixed cost (a constant) plus variable cost

cost of the 2 bands is the same when 600=350+1.25T or T=250/1.25 = 200 tickets

if more than 200 tickets are sold, Band A is cheaper. Less than 200 tickets sold and B is cheaper
