y' = 2x -8 =0

x =4

y=4^2 -8(4) +11 = 16-32+11 = -5

vertex is (4,-5) = minimum point

axis of symmetry is x=4

x^2 -8x + 16 =-11+16 = 5

(x-4)^2 = 5

x-4 =sqr5

x = 4 + or - sqr5 = x intercepts

x=4 is the axis of symmetry and 4 is the x coordinate of the vertex
