I don't know what is meant by the "central rectangle".....regardless, the solution will involve writing an equation for its perimeter--as a function of variables used to define the hyperbola. Once you have the 2 equations, use the standard methods to solve for the parameters. To help visualize, sketch the hyperbola that has the specified vertices.
