h(x) = f(x) and g(u) = u
then f(x) = g(h(x)) = g(f(x) = f(x)
that's the most simple relation
or there are endless other possibilities
such as
h(x)= 2f(x), g(u) =u/2
then
f(x) = g(h(x)) = g(2f(x)) = 2f(x)/2 = f(x)
this would work for either of the definitions of f(x) given in the problem
