Am I being charged with battery?

I got a letter today from an attorney. The letter is stated as an advertisement. It says I have been charged with battery and gives a case number. I've looked up the case number and no results were found. I've looked up my named on the public records for indiana, no results found. I had an incident on Thanksgiving and am just now getting a letter in the mail, December 16. I've never gotten into trouble with the law. The letter says the attorney seen my charge through public record. Yet I see nothing. I'm too scared to call the attorney to ask them. Any comments?
