89/100, where are the 100's on a ruler?

I have something that's 7.89 (7 89/100) and I'd like to know where on the ruler are the 100's so I can see how this particular item measures up. Please help.

Millimeters side of your ruler is based on a scale of 10.  For instance,

 

10 millimeters = 1 centimeter

100 centimeters = 1 meter
