A school cafeteria has 294 chairs. There are 14 chairs at each table. Two chairs will be removed from each table and put into a storage room. How many chairs will be left in the cafeteria

There are 294 chairs in room / 14 at each table = 21 tables

If 2 are taken away from each table, then each table will have 12 left.

21 tables * 12 chairs at each table = 252 chairs now in the room.

294 chairs / 14 chairs per table = 21 tables

2 chairs for each of 21 tables = 22 chairs

294 - 22 = 272 chairs left in cafeteria.
