A secant touches a curve at two points. You need to add a diagram your point as given does not appear to lie on 5/x. You should graph 5/x.

Sufyan, there is something wrong with the statement of this question.
It states that P(12, 10) lies on the curve y = 5/x. If you plug x=10 into this equation, you get y=1/2, NOT y = 12.
So, the remaining questions can't be answered.
