Everybody has their own tastes and style. Every teacher is unique and every student is unique. It is totally normal for a teacher to not be the right match for a student. The student's education comes first! That being said, I'd love to have a 30 minute trial lesson :) In the end, the tutors at Wyzant are just happy to see you grow in knowledge and success in your field.
Would you be interested in a free 30-min trial lesson?
Finding the right teacher is extremely important as tutors are not only meant to inspire and teach you a skill, but also to be a mentor and friend. Trial lessons are important as it allows both the teacher and the student to become acquainted and see if the setup will work with them.

Choral Voice, Piano, and Solo Voice Teacher
Hi there!
As a fellow musician, I understand the need for a trial lesson. I'd be happy to give you a free 30 minute trial lesson if I feel I'd be able to adequately provide for you. May I ask, what your skill level is, and what you hope to get out of lessons (besides a good relationship)?

Music Minor with 14 Years of Piano
Hi!
My name is Byron, and I have been playing the piano for 14 years. I would love to help you, I have a minor in music from Whitworth University and I am classically trained. I could teach anything from pop to jazz to classical. I would like to note that I am not allowed to give you my personal information over Wyzant, but the first hour of lesson time I give you is covered by the Wyzant "Good fit Guarantee".
Wyzant describes it this way:
Your first hour with any tutor is always protected by our Good Fit Guarantee: you don't pay unless you find a good fit. If you are unhappy with your tutor after the first hour, just let us know and we will refund your purchase. Would you like help finding a different tutor instead of a refund? We can help find you another tutor at no additional cost.
Let me know if you are interested or would like to schedule a 30-minute trial; if you don't like it, you don't pay and you can find a teacher who is a better match!
