Let x be the amount of the 12 cent/oz apple juice. That means, since there is 5 oz total, there will be "5 - x" ounces of the 6 cent/oz apple drink.

So (0.12)(x) + (0.06)(5 - x) = (0.10)(5)

0.12x + 0.30 - 0.06x = 0.50

0.06x = 0.2

x = 10/3

So there will be 10/3 oz of apple juice and 5/3 oz of apple drink
