So first you want to convert kg to g
1kg=1,000g
So, 90kg=90,000g
they bought 90,000g of pecans for $297.90
they are selling them in 250g bags for $1.90
we have to figure out how many 250 g bags they can get from all the pecans they have. To do this we divide 90,000 by 250.
90,000/250=360
so they will sell 360 bags of pecans.
To find the profit, first you need to find how much money they will make selling those 360 bags. So you multiply 360x$1.90.
360 x $1.90= $684
So they will make $684 from selling all the pecans, but we want to find the profit, so we need to subtract the amount of money they spent to buy the pecans.
$684 - $297.90 = $386.10
So their profit is, $386.10
