If f(a) = b, then f-1(b) = a.
So, since f(3) = 14, f-1(14) = 3.
Do part b in a similar manner.

f-1(14)= ?
(b) if f-1(12)=6, find f(6)
f(6)=??
If f(a) = b, then f-1(b) = a.
So, since f(3) = 14, f-1(14) = 3.
Do part b in a similar manner.

Hello Kailin B.,
The inverse function switches the input and the output of a function. So if f turns a 3 into a 14, then f-1 turns a 14 into a 3. The inverse does the reverse of the function.
This means f-1(14) = 3.
See if you can do part b yourself.
