I got 5.52153491 but wanna go over it to make sure i got the right answer.

This is how I'm interpreting what you wrote:

If so, when you do 83 - 2700/32 you get -1.375 then divide be 6 to get:

3^-0.4t = -0.2291667

There is no solution to this. 3^-0.4t is always positive, no matter what values of t are selected.
