Let f ( x ) = − 1.1 sin ( x ) + 3.4 cos ( x ) . What is the maximum and minimum value of this function?

For this question, i need to figure it out using trigonometry.

This answer is not quite correct. The max is actually larger than 3.4.

You gave me the formula above. One thing I've got to mention: I didn't go far enough around the circle. I should of went to 180 deg (2nd quad). This makes the degrees from 0 to 180 which = 3.4 to -3.4.
