B.) Jenny is playing a board game. She must roll dice to determine if she gets an extra turn. The probability of getting an extra turn is 3/17. Find the odds in favor of getting an extra turn.

A). Here number of failures/number of successes = 9/2

The total number of trials is number of failures + number of successes = 9+2 =11

So getting a lemon-flavored piece is a success. P(getting a lemon-flavored piece) = 2/11

B)

odds in favor is given is given by number of successes/number of failures.
