Legal issue on whether the Australian Security and Intelligence Act 1979 (Cth) (Asio Act) contravenes the right to freedom and privacy of children. Asio’s new bill will question children age 14 and put surveillance and tracking devices in their bags. The parliament considers it as non-intrusive but Australian community is not happy with this development of tracking device without warrant.
