y=x² - 1 , y= -x+2 , x=0 , x=1

Graph the 2 equations.

You will have to do this in 2 parts because the area below y=0 is negative.

The area above the x axis is a trapezoid with bases 2 and 1 and altitude 1.

The other area is the integral from 0 to 1 of x² -1...and change the sign !
