How would you sketch a graph of the following two equations labeling

1. at least 2 coordinates on each side of the y axis
2.  the asymptote

a) f(x) = 2x b) g(x) = (1/3)^x

The graph of f(x)=2x is a straight line through the origin.

The graph of (1/3)^x is a decreasing exponential which has horizontal asymptote y=0 as x increases positively; in the other direction it is unbounded.
