A great way to start to approach a question like this is breaking it down into things that you know. I like you think about formulas and how they relate to the question.
The information that I take out from what I read is: the area is 30 sq units, this is a rectangle, we want to find the dimensions.
I'd start with how we find area. With rectangles, we find area using length and width, which also are referred to as the dimensions of the rectangle. So we can make a simple equation where L (length) * W (width) = A (area.)
Then we plug in the numbers we know --> L * W = 30
The last step is figuring out what can L and W. Basically you think and figure out all the option for what numbers you can multiply together to get 30.
For example: 1 and 30, 2 and 15, etc.
