Let's put this into an equation.
Let x equal the number of prints.
.30x = the profit made by each print.
But now we have to include the cost of making the print as well as the overhead.
.09x = cost to make the print
45 = overhead
Now we put it all together.
.30x -.09x -45 = ?
We want to set it equal to the final amount we want to make which is 60.
.30x - .09x - 45 = 60
Now we solve for x. We big by combining like terms.
.21x - 45 = 60
Then get x by itself.
.21x = 105
x = 105/.21 = 500.
