Daniel has read 90​% of a book. He has 9 more pages to finish. How many pages are there in the​ book?

I'm kind of confused... Can somebody help me? It's for homework... Plz hurry up and answer...

If he has 90% completed, he has 10% remaining, or 0.10 as a decimal. We are trying to solve for the total number of pages in the book, or the whole.

part/whole = percent

Let x = total number of pages in the book

9/x=0.10

x=9/0.10 = 90 pages in the book
