A line that is parallel to another line will have the same slope. The slope of this line is -4, so the equation of your new line is y = -4x + b, where b is the intercept. We have a point on this second line so we can solve for b:
2 = -4(0) + b, or 2 = b.
The equation of your parallel line is y = -4x + 2!
