Windows 10 installation media

I am trying to download the windows 10 installation media tool then i get to the page where it says choose what to do , i choose create installation media then after it says there is not enough space on C: but the usb is called D: and its a new usb with 14gb of space. What do i do?

You need space on your hard drive to download the software required to generate the USB drive and to store the data that gets loaded onto the USB drive. So you need adequate space on both your C: drive and your D: drive.
