Hi Zoha,
you have to set up a proportion to answer this question.
30 liters/ x liters = 3/4
when the bucket is 3/4ths full the bucket has 30 liters of water in it. "x" represents the total amount of water that can fit in the bucket. So, by rearranging the proportion to solve for x we can find out the buckets max capacity.
x = (4/3)*(30liters) -> x = 40 liters
