Took 4 hours to get to a park on bike. First 2 hours they rode 12 mph, second 2 hours they rode 9 mph. How far was the park

Hour 1 - 12 miles

The second hour, the bikers rode 12 miles per hour.

Hour 2 - 12 miles

Hour 3 - 9 miles

The fourth hour, the bikers rode 9 miles per hour.

Hour 4 - 9 miles

We can add up those miles and then we have our answer: 12 + 12 + 9 + 9 = 42 miles.
