Michael is building a garden for his grandmother's birthday. Michael has decided that the garden is going to go along the front of the house under the study window. He has measured that the garden is going to be 3/5 of a yard wide and 2 yards long, but doesn't know how much dirt he will need to fill the garden. Help Michael by finding the area of the garden in terms of yards squared (yd2) to determine how much dirt he should buy.
Answer: 2yd x 3/5 yd= 6/5 or 1 1/5 yd2
