A student in a Pre-Calculus class has test scores of 76, 60, 79, and 73. The final exam is worth 2 test grades.

Write a linear equation that models this problem, where x is the grade on the final exam and y is the student's grade in the course.

Please add steps as to how you came up with your solution, so I can understand how to answer problems like these in other situations.

i tried y=(76+60+79+73+2x)/6 and got y=1/3x+48 which appears to be the solution
