Annie has quarters and dimes in her bank. There are eight less than four times as many dimes as quarters. There is $6.35 in her bank. How many dimes are in her bank?

d= 4q-8

25q +40q-80 = 635

65q = 715

q = 715/65 = 143/13 = 11 quarters

d = 44-8 = 36 dimes

25(11) +10(36)= 275+360 = 635
