A gardener plans to enclose a rectangular region using fencing on three sides and part of a shed on the fourth side. The side parallel to the shed needs to be one fifth the length of an adjacent side. If the area of the region is 180ft squared , how many feet of fencing should be purchased?

A = 180 = (1/5)s(s) = s^2/5

s^2 = 5(180) = 900

s = sqr900 = 30

2s +s/5 = 60+6 = 66 feet required
