Tom sold 254 yellow cars and 532 black cars. For every yellow car Tom sold, he got 7000$ and for every black car he sold, he got 4000$. How much money did Bilal make by selling the cars?
I'm going to assume that "Tom" and "Bilal" are the same person. If that's the case, Tom will make:
(254 yellow cars) x ($7000/yellow car) + (532 black cars) x ($4000/black car) =
$1,778,000 + $2,128,000 = $3,806,000
Solution: Tom makes $3,806,000.
