The sum of 3, four times a number, -6 and three times a number. x = a number
What does the problem ask you to do? I assume it wants you to set up an expression? Sum means addition it gives you the variable to use.
The sum of 3, 4 times a number (x), -6 and 3 times a number (x)
Put it all together
3 + 4X + -6 + 3X
The problem is not complete until you simplify it by combining like terms. See if you can do that. I am following the problem so if you have difficulty let me know and I will help you.
