What type of function can be used to determine the side length of a square if the independent variable is the square’s area?

AREA, not volume -- A = s squared ... s = square root of A

Sorry, guess I was half asleep this morning. So Area = the square of the side length or A = s squared. Switching this gives s = square root of the area so the function is the square root function
