Divide this problem, simply it. I am confused by how to complete this problem and I need some help with it.

(3x^2-2x-13)/(x-2)

2 3 -2 -13 use synthetic division getting

3 4 -5 which means 3x+4 with remainder -5

(3x^2 -2x -13)/(x-2) = 3x+4 - 5/(x-2)
