A shop sells matching hats and scarves. The scarves cost 1.5 times as much as the hats. Write two patterns that could represent the costs of 1 2 3 4 and 5 hats and scarves. List the first five terms of each pattern. Then explain how to find the cost 6 hats and scarves using the patterns you wrote. Show your work

S = 1.5 * H

So once you choose the price of the hat, H, then you plug into that formula

to get the price of the scarf

Suppose for example the hat costs $5. Then the scarf has price $7.50

SO now you can create your table

To find the 6th of each, you add 5 and 7.5 to the last row.
