Solve for the equivalent resistance seen by the source
A voltage source is connected to a series resistance =1 ohm and a parallel combination of two resistance each = 2 ohms.

Voltage source is in series with 1 Ohm Resistance and two resistances in parallel of each 2 Ohms.
2 Ohms in parallel i.e 1 Ohm equivalent which is in series with already 1 Ohm hence the answer of Eqvalent resistance in the circuit is 2OHM
